¡Nos aprobaron otro mes de leches!
La prepaga en la que están Lorena y los chicos cubre los primeros tres meses de leche medicamentosa, y el primer año de leche “común”. La leche para prematuros es medicamentosa. Los chicos tienen cuatro meses. Cada tarro de leche dura dos días, y lo más barato que las conseguimos es 28$ (osea, 434$ el mes de leches). Este mes toca otra de las vacunas celulares que nos cubren el 40% en vez del 100%, con lo cual toca pagar 268$. Haciendo las cuentas, no llegábamos ni a palos.
Pero nos acaban de aprobar el 100% de este mes, así que estamos en verde otra vez.
Update: Lore me acaba de avisar que (ya me había avisado que) no nos cubren la leche “común”, porque es una prepaga y no una obra social. Sucks.

The medical plan that Lorena and the boys are on covers the first three months of medicated milk, and the first year of “normal” milk. The milk for premies is medicated. The boys are four months old. Each tin of milk lasts two days, and the cheapest we can get it is 28$ (or $434 per month of milk). This month they are due another of their vaccinations for which we are only covered for 40% instead of 100%, so we have to pay $268. Doing our sums, there was no way we would get there.
But they have just approved 100% for this month, so we are in the black again.
Update: Lore has just told me that (had already told me that) they do NOT cover the normal milk, because it’s a pre-paid health insurance and not a health care scheme. Sucks.
[Lore's posting]: Just to clarify that the health insurance does not cover us on normal milk for a year, just medicated milk, and luckily they gave us another month.
