Antes de que todo el mundo me pregunte :), el bajón de peso de Joaquín es el resultado previsto de suspenderle lo más posible la alimentación por sonda. Parece que está funcionando, porque está tomando progresivamente más: ayer tomó cerca de 30cm³ en muchas de las succiones, y nunca menos de 20cm². Se respira un aire de cansancio infinito mezclado con alegría, porque como Joaquín sigue en el box alguien tiene que estar con él casi todo el tiempo, sumado a que como Pedro está en casa alguien tiene que estar con él, y además alguien tiene que trabajar… mucho no dormir, pero es espectacular que Joaco esté respondiendo a esto. Esperen un par de días de bajada del peso antes de que vuelva a subir, sin embargo.

Me acaba de hablar Lore, y me contó que Joaquín tomó 40cm³!!!

Fantastic! At last looks like he’s worked out what those funny things you poke into his mouth are for! I’m glad he’s taking more by bottle. I can imagine your tiredness/happiness equation is about balanced at the moment. Keep up the juggling act, we’re all rooting for you &:-) (smiley face con rulitos peludos! not an original, but it’s on Steve’s shampoo and I thought it was cute).

TRANSLATION: Before the WHOLE WORLD asks me :), Joaquín’s weight loss is the expected result of cancelling his feeds by tube as much as possible. Apparently it’s working, because he is progressively taking more - yesterday he drank nearly 30c.c.s at most feeds, and never less than 20c.c.s. You can smell an air of infinite tiredness mixed with happiness, because as Joaquín is still in the box somebody has to be with him virtually all the time, plus Pedro is at home so somebody has to be with him, and somebody has to work… not much sleep, but it’s spectacular that Joaquín is responding to this. Expect a couple of days of weight loss before he goes up again, however.
UPDATE: Lore just phoned me, and told me Joaquín took 40 c.c.s!!!

por suerte te salio disciplinado y viene siguiendo las “sugerencias” que le hacen los medicos…casi casi tan obediente como el padre
